PREGUNTAS FRECUENTES (FAQ) JORNADA INTERNACIONAL DE DOCTORANDOS
Estas preguntas frecuentes tienen como objetivo ayudarte a comprender mejor las diferencias y condiciones de participación entre las dos jornadas que se celebran dentro del mismo congreso: la Jornada Internacional de Doctorandos y el Encuentro Internacional de Investigación de Cuidados. Aunque se desarrollan en paralelo y comparten la misma organización, cada jornada tiene enfoques y requisitos específicos:
Me permite como doctorando, como investigador en formación, participar en un espacio diseñado específicamente para la discusión de proyectos de tesis, la `presentación de trabajos entre doctorandos y el establecimiento de redes colaborativas.
A diferencia del Encuentro Internacional de Investigación en Cuidados, esta jornada prioriza el intercambio temprano de ideas en entornos de debate horizontal entre doctorandos. Las universidades suelen reconocer esta participación como actividad formativa y de divulgación. Por lo tanto, la acreditación que se otorga es específica para la Jornada Internacional de Doctorandos, y es reconocida por la mayoría de universidades como parte del plan formativo del doctorado.
No hay un momento formal de defensa del póster. Los pósteres estarán expuestos en un espacio visible y cercano al lugar donde se celebre. Además, otros asistentes a estos eventos científicos pueden estar interesados en los trabajos que se exponen. Consecuentemente, se recomienda estar presente durante las pausas para responder preguntas o ampliar la información.
Sí. Si tu tesis está en una etapa avanzada, con resultados preliminares o finales que puedan ser compartidos, puedes enviar un resumen al Encuentro Internacional de Investigación en Cuidados. Este resumen será evaluado por pares y, si es aceptado, se incluirá en el programa como una comunicación oral o en formato póster. La participación e inscripción en esta modalidad implica que tu presentación será reconocida como parte del Encuentro, por lo que recibirás un certificado oficial que acredita tu contribución a este evento. Es importante destacar que esta acreditación es distinta a la que se otorga en la Jornada Internacional de Doctorandos, ya que responde a criterios de evaluación y divulgación científica más consolidados y no al acompañamiento formativo de los trabajos doctorales en proceso.
No es posible presentar un mismo trabajo en ambos eventos simultáneamente. Deberás elegir entre participar en la Jornada Internacional de Doctorandos o en el Encuentro Internacional de Investigación en Cuidados, ya que cada una tiene objetivos, públicos y formatos diferentes. Esta exclusividad garantiza la coherencia y el valor académico de las acreditaciones emitidas, además de evitar duplicidades en la participación.
Debes tener en cuenta que participar como ponente en el Encuentro Internacional de Investigación en Cuidados es incompatible con inscribirte en la Jornada Internacional de Doctorandos o con presentar tu proyecto de tesis en ella. Esta incompatibilidad responde a la necesidad de preservar la identidad académica de cada evento, evitar solapamientos en los certificados de participación y asegurar la calidad de los debates y el acompañamiento formativo específico en cada espacio. Por tanto, si quieres difundir proyectos con resultados concluidos, el Encuentro Internacional de Investigación en Cuidados es el espacio indicado.

Para obtener el certificado de asistencia de la Jornada Internacional de Doctorandos, debes cumplir los siguientes requisitos:
- Asistir a todas las mesas plenarias del congreso.
- Participar activamente en todas las sesiones específicas para doctorandos.
El control de asistencia se llevará a cabo a la entrada y salida de cada actividad. Además:
- Si participas en talleres, recibirás el certificado correspondiente.
- Si tienes admitido tu proyecto de tesis, obtendrás el certificado de comunicación (oral o póster).
No es necesario que lo imprimas. La organización se encargará de imprimir todos los pósteres aceptados para la Jornada Internacional de Doctorandos.
5QUESTIONS RELATED TO THE INTERNATIONAL DOCTORAL STUDENT’S WORKSHOP:
Universities normally recognize the attendance of doctoral students to conferences as a training activity and the presentation of papers as a dissemination activity.
However, the presentation and discussion of the project (which takes place in the doctoral students’ room) is considered a colloquium and networking activity for researchers in training. This activity can be very enriching for the doctoral student and adds value to the other activities offered in parallel at the Congress.
In addition, the registration to this program has a reduced price with respect to the registration to the Congress, so it only includes identification, program and follow-up/evaluation document (it does not include other materials).
There is no specific time available for the defense of the poster, although the debate and exchange character of the session can (and should) give rise to questions from the attendees, both in the case of oral presentations and posters. However, they will be placed in a suitable location so that those attending the International Doctoral Student’s Workshop and the Congress can see them. Take advantage of the coffee breaks to be there and be able to explain, comment or solve possible questions.
If your thesis is advanced enough and you have results, you can present your work as an abstract at the Congress and, if accepted, it will be presented as an oral communication or poster depending on its evaluation. In this case you will receive a certificate of attendance and presentation of your paper at the Congress, not at the International Doctoral Student’s Workshop.

No. You cannot register and/or present your work simultaneously in the International Doctoral Student’s Workshop and in the Congress both scientific events take place in the same time. Therefore, you have to decide in which of the two events you are interested in registering.
The International Doctoral Student’s Workshop is a concurrent space for discussion and exchange among doctoral students, with the aim of exchanging experiences and the contents of the theses that are presented. You can only register and be a speaker at one of the two events, the International Conference of International Doctoral Student’s Workshop or the Congress. Please note that you will only obtain the certificate of attendance and/or presentation of the event in which you have registered.
In order to obtain the certificate of attendance to the International Doctoral Students´ Workshop, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
- Attendance to ALL the plenary sessions of the Congress.
- Active participation in all the specific sessions for doctoral students.
- Attendance to at least one of the symposia held during the Congress.
There will be a method of attendance control at the entrance and exit of these sessions. The doctoral student must make sure to go through the attendance control to register his or her attendance.
If you have participated in a workshop or seminar, you will receive a certificate of attendance.
If you have presented your thesis project, you will receive the corresponding certificate, oral or poster.
It is not necessary, the organization will print all accepted posters, including those of the International Conference of Doctoral Students.
