Those who wish to do so may also present an update on their research progress and future actions. The presentation formats at the Doctoral Students Workshop are:

Abstract:
The abstract should follow the following structure and guidelines:
- Justification/ Objectives
- Method
- Expected results
- Discussion.
2Considerations to keep in mind for the International Doctoral Students’ Workshop:
When submitting your abstract, please keep the following in mind:
- Abstracts on care research that have been indexed in any of the national or international databases, or are published in open access will not be accepted for evaluation.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right not to accept abstracts that it considers to be plagiarism or redundant publication, due to having been presented at previous conferences or at other scientific dissemination events. Therefore, regarding abstracts published in other conferences, given that originality should prevail over dissemination, authors will always be asked to specify whether the work has been previously presented and in which forum. It is not foreseen that the abstracts presented at the International Doctoral Student’s Workshop will be published in the Book of Abstracts.
- Please note that once the deadline for abstract submission is closed, NO changes in abstract submission will be accepted.
- All abstract whose presenters have not registered (including payment) by October 15 (20:00 GMT) will be removed from the meeting program.
3Criteria for evaluating abstracts submitted to the International Doctoral Students Workshop:
The abstract must provide sufficient information about the content of the communication to be presented, so that it is possible to assess the rigor and relevance of the submitted abstract. It must comply in all its parts with the established presentation rules.
Even if the content of each section is not included in the corresponding place, as long as it is present, the evaluators will consider the abstract to follow the structure. If it is not included, the application will assign it a score of zero, preventing further evaluation.
3.1 Title.
It must be specific, sufficiently informing the content of the abstract.
3.2 Justification.
It must be concrete and concise and be supported by pertinent and current bibliographic references.
3.3. Objectives.
They should be clear, concrete and adequately defined.
3.4 Method.
It must be suitable for achieving the objectives. It must include, in a clear and sufficiently described manner, the following points:
- Design. Described in a simple way, it should allow the objectives to be pursued.
- Scope or scenario of the study.
- Subjects/participants. In quantitative studies, it must contain the target population, the sample used and the procedure for obtaining the latter. It should be assessed whether the sample size has statistical value; in the case of describing a single case or isolated cases, their relevance and/or uniqueness should be justified. In qualitative studies, it must include the reference population, the recruitment process and the selection criteria for the participants.
- Variables/Dimensions. Quantitative studies should include the defined variables and the measurement method used; in the case of unusual variables, a brief description of them is required. In qualitative studies, the presentation of the dimensions studied will be assessed.
- Instrument, method or procedure used to obtain data. The tools used to collect the information must be described. These must be appropriate to the design and objectives.
- Data analysis or process and method. Adequate to the design. In quantitative studies: statistical analysis. In qualitative studies: process and method of analysis followed. The type of validation and the process for achieving data saturation must be described. Selected citations should be appropriate and explained.
- Planned timeline.
3.5 Expected results.
The expected results must be consistent with the proposed objectives and be extractable from the method used.
3.6 Discussion.
Ethical considerations must be explained and the relevance of the work assessed, estimating its contribution to the area of work (care, methodology, etc.) in terms of significant knowledge and implications for practice, as well as the originality of the work.
