Workshops

1. Scientific Writing and Article Publication

This workshop aims to provide practical and up-to-date tools that facilitate the planning, writing, and publication of scientific articles in indexed biomedical journals, promoting greater methodological quality, scientific visibility, and research impact in the Health Sciences.

Duration: 2 hours.

Date: November 18, 2026.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.

2. Evidence-Based Practice

In the healthcare field, Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is fundamental to ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. However, implementing EBP in clinical practice can be challenging. Translating evidence into practice is not a simple task. Multiple factors and influences, both internal and external, can affect evidence implementation, making this task a real challenge.

This workshop aims to provide healthcare professionals with the necessary tools and strategies to overcome these obstacles and shift their clinical practice toward evidence-based care.

Duration: 2 hours.

Date: November 18, 2026.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.

3. Grounded Theory

This workshop introduces the fundamental principles of Grounded Theory, one of the most widely used qualitative methodologies for understanding experiences and processes in health. Through practical examples, participants will learn the basic stages of the method, from data coding to category generation, and its application in health sciences research.

Duration: 2 hours.

Date: November 18, 2026.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.

4. Linear Regression

A workshop designed to help participants understand, interpret, and apply one of the most widely used statistical analyses in health sciences research.

Using a highly practical methodology, the workshop will cover the construction and interpretation of linear regression models, their main assumptions, and the correct interpretation of results, with the aim of facilitating their application in research projects and scientific publications.

Duration: 2 hours.

Date: November 18, 2026.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.

5. Systematic Review

This workshop will address the methodological foundations of systematic reviews, including formulating research questions, defining eligibility criteria, designing literature search strategies, and interpreting results, in order to facilitate their application in evidence-based clinical practice.

Duration: 2 hours.

Date: November 18, 2026.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.

6. Basics of Qualitative Research

This session will allow you to learn about the main methodological characteristics of qualitative research, identify the phenomena best suited to this approach, explore its main methodologies and techniques, and understand how it complements quantitative research through the analysis of practical cases.

Duration: 2 hours.

Date: November 18, 2026.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.

7. Gamification in Research

What if learning about clinical research could be as dynamic as solving a challenge? This workshop proposes presenting participants with real clinical scenarios, using interactive questionnaires and gamification techniques to foster practical and participatory learning.

Throughout the session, we will address formulating clinical questions, interpreting scientific evidence, and applying research findings to inform decision-making in clinical practice.

Duration: 2 hours.

Date: November 18, 2026.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.

8. AI in Results Transfer

Artificial intelligence is transforming research, teaching, and healthcare practice. In this workshop, participants will discover how to integrate these tools into nursing practice and health research projects.

Through real-time demonstrations and practical case studies, the workshop will cover searching and reviewing scientific literature, organizing information, supporting decision-making, creating training and outreach materials, and using intelligent agents to generate content in text, image, and video formats.

Duration: 2 hours.

Date: November 18, 2026.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.
