- Abstracts on care research that have been indexed in any of the national or international databases, or are published in open access will not be accepted for evaluation.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right not to accept abstracts that it considers plagiarism or redundant publication, because they have been presented in previous meetings or in other scientific dissemination events. Therefore, with respect to abstracts published in other congresses, given that originality should prevail over dissemination, authors will always be asked to specify whether the work has been previously presented and in which It is not foreseen that the works presented at the International Conference for Doctoral Students will be published in the Book of Abstracts.
- Please note that once the deadline for abstract submission is closed, NO changes in abstract submission will be accepted.
- All abstract whose presenters have not registered (including payment) by October 10 (20:00 GMT) will be removed from the meeting program.
3Criteria for evaluating the abstracts submitted to the International Doctoral Students Workshop:
The abstract must provide sufficient information about the content of the communication to be presented, so that it is possible to assess the rigor and relevance of the work presented. It must respect in all its parts the established rules of presentation.
Even if the contents of each section are not included in the corresponding place, as long as they are present, the evaluators will consider that the abstract follows the structure. If they are not included, a value of 0 will be assigned in the application, which will prevent the evaluation from continuing.
3.1 Title.
It must be specific, sufficiently informing the content of the abstract.
3.2 Justification.

They should be clear, concrete and adequately defined.
3.4 Method.
It should be adequate for the achievement of the objectives. It should include, in a clear and sufficiently described manner, the following points
- Design. Described in a simple way, it should allow the objectives to be pursued.
- Scope or scenario of the study.
- Subjects/participants. In quantitative studies, it should contain the target population, the sample used and the procedure for obtaining the latter. It should be assessed whether the sample size has statistical value; in the case of describing a single case or isolated cases, its relevance and/or uniqueness should be justified. In qualitative studies, it should contain the reference population, the recruitment process and the selection criteria of the participating subjects.
- Variables/Dimensions. Quantitative studies should include the variables defined and the measurement method used; in the case of unusual variables, a brief description should be given. In qualitative studies, the presentation of the dimensions studied will be evaluated.
- Instrument, method or procedure used to obtain data. The tools used to collect the information should be described. These should be appropriate to the design and objectives.
- Data analysis or process and method. Adequate to the design. In quantitative studies, statistical analysis. In qualitative studies, process and method of analysis followed. The type of validation should be described, the process to reach saturation of the information. The selected citations should be adequate and explained.
- Planned schedule.
3.5 Expected results.
The expected results should be consistent with the propose objectives and be extractable from the method used.
3.6 Discussion.
Ethical considerations should be explained and the relevance of the work should be assessed, estimating its contribution to the area of work (care, methodology, etc.) in terms of significant knowledge and implications for practice, as well as the originality of the work.
