With profound joy and a great sense of responsibility, I warmly welcome you to the 29th International Nursing Research Conference of INVESTEN, on behalf of the organizing committee and as its chair.

This year we have the privilege of holding this landmark scientific event in Toledo, the city of three cultures and a historic jewel declared a World Heritage Site. Its cultural, artistic, and scientific legacy makes it the ideal setting for reflection, knowledge exchange, and the coming together of care professionals. Our venue, the University of Castilla-La Mancha, is located in the unique setting of the Technological Campus of the Former Arms Factory of Toledo, where industrial and military history is transformed into knowledge, innovation, and progress in the service of nursing science and care.

Within this framework of international excellence, we will have the opportunity to present and debate projects, evidence, and research lines that advance the development of nursing knowledge. Each of the communications, keynotes, panels, and workshops that make up the program will help strengthen a robust research community, committed to methodological rigor and the continuous improvement of the care we provide. The science of care gathers once again to reaffirm its voice, its value, and its impact on the health of individuals, families, and communities.

This conference, beyond its academic dimension, is also a space for reconnecting, building new alliances, and continuing to shape together a present and a future in which nursing research holds a central place in health policies and care practices.

I also encourage you to enjoy the city that welcomes us as an exceptional host: stroll through its cobbled streets and ancient walls, watch the sunset from its viewpoints, savor its cuisine, and let yourselves be inspired by its history and artistic legacy. I am convinced that Toledo’s atmosphere will leave in all of us an indelible mark, both intellectually and emotionally.
