1. Artificial Intelligence – Víctor González Chordá
In a context where artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the ways we generate knowledge, this workshop offers a critical deep-dive into the use of generative AI applied to the full health research cycle. Far from a merely instrumental perspective, we will explore the structural and epistemic impact of these emerging technologies on scientific practice.
Duration: 2 hours.
Date: November 12, 2025.
Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.
2. Introduction to REDCap – Teresa Moreno & Isabel Orts
REDCap is an encrypted web-based data capture software and a workflow methodology for designing research databases. This online REDCap course focuses on exploring the platform’s capabilities: how to collaborate across multiple research teams, common uses, and its limitations.

Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.
4. Evidence Implementation in Care – Leticia Bernues
This workshop aims to train professionals to lead change initiatives using quality improvement cycles that facilitate the implementation of evidence-based care in practice. It proposes a collaborative working space to explore evidence implementation strategies in clinical contexts—not only applying protocols but understanding the social, cultural, organizational, and ethical processes that mediate the adoption of evidence in care practices.
Duration: 2 hours.
Date: November 12, 2025.
Times: 09:45–11:45 and 12:00–14:00.
5. Introduction to Quantitative Research – María Ángeles Cidoncha
This workshop offers an accessible, applied, and critical introduction to quantitative methodology, emphasizing its relevance in nursing and care research. Using concrete examples, it reviews the fundamentals, study types, and main challenges of this approach, highlighting its practical utility for nursing professionals and others involved in care.
